The Following Are A Few Of Our Selected Project Profiles

Traffic Plan: Traffic Evacuation and Re-Entry Plan (TERP), Jefferson Parish

The firm was instrumental in the development of the TERP web based traffic management system which provided the citizens of Jefferson Parish an easy-to-use Hurricane/Emergency evacuation plan on its local streets. Further, the plan provided a directory of lodging accommodations along the evacuation route, telephone numbers of emergency operation centers and provided re-entry information.

Utility Access & Evaluation: Huey P. Long Bridge over the Mississippi River Utility Relocation Plans, Parish of Jefferson, LA

Huey P. Long is one of the primary bridges crossing the Mississippi River in the metropolitan area of New Orleans. The firm was retained by the Parish of Jefferson to evaluate the LDOTD proposed improvements on the bridge which included the impact on traffic and utilities. The firm used VISSUM traffic models to stimulate future traffic conditions and recommended and designed relocation of utilities affected by the construction.

Zoning: Wetlands Zoning Study: Jefferson Parish Department of Planning

The firm reviewed the Parish of Jefferson zoning laws pertaining to its vast wetlands. The zoning regulations were determined to be inadequate, weak, confusing and did not protect the environmental sensitivity of the wetlands. A number of recommendations were made in the study to improve the existing wetland zoning ordinances.

Environmental Impact: Laketown Recreational Park, Kenner, Louisiana on Lake Ponchatrain

DEII submitted 404 permit applications and Environmental mitigation plans to the USACE, Levee Boards, EPA, and state agencies ensuring that the project was in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
