The Following Are A Few Of Our Selected Project Profiles
 | Flood Control: West Return Floodwall, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District, Louisiana The firm, under an IDIQ contract, is responsible for the design of the West Return Floodwall replacement, a 3 mile long T-wall which protects Jefferson Parish and the City of Kenner on its’ western flank. The new floodwall will bring the hurricane protection of the levee to a 100 year level of storm protection. The reach consists of one pumping station, floodwalls, swing gates, and pedestrian gates. Design will be for a new T-wall offset from the existing floodwall. Total estimated construction cost is $140 million. | | Transportation: Louis Armstrong International Airport Access Road Improvements, New Orleans Aviation Board, Louisiana Traffic engineering analysis and design were developed for the improvement of the airport access roadway from the Airport to Interstate 10. The firm prepared the roadway design, subsurface drainage design, plan preparation, traffic capacity analysis and study, traffic engineering, and geometric design using AASHTO standards. The project included the construction of a landscaped and lighted barrier median to eliminate the high accident rate on the two-way undivided roadway along with the asphalt overlay of the existing concrete roadway to provide a sufficient profile for drainage. | | Wastewater Treatment: Plant Expansion, Southern Regional Wastewater Management District, Hancock County, Mississippi Prepared construction plans and specifications which included a headwork structure, grit removal system, a screw conveyer and odor control systems. The project included the rehabilitation of two intra-channel clarifies, modifying the existing onsite storage pond, and the construction of a sludge handling building. Project cost is estimated to be $9.7 million. | | Wastewater Collection and Pumping: Sewer Reconstruction South of the Railroad Tracks, Waveland, Mississippi The firm prepared plans and specifications for the replacement of gravity sewer, sewer force mains and lift stations. The project consisted of the total reconstruction of the entire sewer systems of the City of Waveland between the Beach Road and the CSX Railroad Tracks in the City due to damage caused by Hurricane Katrina. Total construction cost of project exceeded $48 million. | | Storm Water Engineering (Drainage): Parish Line Pump Station, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana The project includes the increasing of the drainage pump station in phases with an additional 1400 cfs to supplement the existing 900 cfs station and improve the adjacent drainage canals. The firm has been assigned the first phase of the project which includes hydraulic modeling of the drainage basin, and designing a 300 cfs increase of the stations pumping capacity. Total estimated construction cost is $60 million. |
